As the number of COVID-19 patients have risen in seven townships in Mandalay Region, quarantine centers were packed with infected people and  close contact with the positive patients had to place home quarantine according to Yin Bat Tu Nyi Naung (Same Heart brothers) Charity Group.

There were 111 positive patients on November 11 and when placing them at the quarantine centers, they were unable to place in the centers due to overcrowding in the centers and stock were unable to fill at the centers. 

According to the decision of the health authority of Mandalay Region, they were placed home quarantine and if the centers were ready to accept them, they will be sent to the centers.

In 4 quarantine centers in Mandalay Region, there were 620 patients and till November 11, there were 1980 positive patients in 7 townships in Mandalay Region, while 624 were being hospitalized and 1945 were discharged from the hospital and 766 were being treated at the hospital. In the entire Mandalay Region, there are 2729 positive patients with 18 deaths.
