YANGON----At the invitation of Communist Party of China (CPC), National League for Democracy (NLD) and Union Solidarity and Development Party(USDP) will be attending a summit for Asian Political Parties being organized by CPC, according to the sources.

The CPC aimed to hold a virtual meeting between CPC and political parties from Southeast and South Asian and then CPC invited four political parties including NLD and USDP to attend the virtual meeting to be held on September 9th. 

MP Bo Bo Oo who had competed in 2020 General Election representing the Dala Constituency in Yangon Region wrote on his Social media that four political parties including NLD were invited to attend a summit for Asian Political Parties. NLD would attend a summit.

Likewise, USDP’s spokesperson Dr Nanda Hla Myint wrote on his Facebook that the invited USDP will attend a summit. He also said that Central Youth Affairs Committee member Dr Thant Zin Lwin will represent the USDP.
