Thai authorities arrested nine undocumented Myanmar nationals on December 3 in Kanchanaburi Province according to sources from Thailand.
At around 7 pm. on December 3, a joint team led by the Kanchanaburi Provincial Police, Thailand, was patrolling the Bang Kaung-Huay Nam Khao Road near Bang Kaung Village, Mueang Township, when they found nine suspicious people and took them in for questioning.
After investigating, Thai authorities discovered they are undocumented Myanmar nationals and found 2,750 rounds of ammunition packed in cardboard boxes, at their residence, according to Thai news reports.
One individual faces charges for aiding illegal entry and possessing illegal weapons, while the others are charged with unlawful entry, according to Thai media reports.
