Myanmar has now 1,194 new cases of COVID-19 and 27 more deaths according to the statement made by the Ministry of Health and Sports on October 21 at 8:00 pm. From October 20 at 8:00 pm to October 21 at 8:00pm, a total of 14,362 samples were tested and found new cases of 1,194.
Among the positive cases, 718 patients were discharged from the hospital and now the total number of people discharged from the hospital reached 18,865. Among the 27 deaths, 20 had previous diseases prior to COVID-19. The total number of deaths is now 972.
Myanmar has so far conducted 552,448 samples and found 39,696 positive patients while 18,865 people were recovered from the virus and discharged from the hospital with 972 deaths.
Myanmar has so far seen 39,696 COVID-19 cases with 945 deaths according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.
