Myanmar found 1,136 new COVID-19 confirmed patients on November 13 with 26 more have died, announced the Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) on the night of November 13.
A total of 15,534 samples are tested between November 12 and November 13 and found 1,136 confirmed patients, it said.
A total of 773 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing the total number of people to free from the virus reached 50,336.
Among the death of 26, 16 had underlying chronic medical conditions. Up to 1,534 patients have died from the virus, it said.
It said 869,228 samples were tested till November 13 and found 66,734 patients so far.
A total of 1,769 people, who had close contact with positive patients in Yangon Region and tested negative, are put in home quarantine, it said.
Hospitals in Yangon Region are testing COVID-19 suspects using rapid antigen diagnostic test kits and there are people who lost their sense of smell and taste included, announced the MOHS.
