Myanmar reports 956 new COVID-19 cases, 2 more deaths

Myanmar reported 956 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths as of night on Friday (March 11th ), according to the Ministry of Health.

A total of 7,354,769 COVID-19 lab samples were tested from 8pm of March 11th and 604,219 new cases were confirmed.

There were two fatalities of COVID-19 cases reported on Friday night, taking the death toll from coronavirus complications to 19,403.

Moreover, a total of 1,399 patients were discharged from the hospitals on March 11th bringing a total number of patients discharged from the hospitals to 555,290.

The samples were tested in labs under the Ministry of Health, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at private hospitals and labs and using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, all regions and states.
