Myanmar protestors who are planning to protest against me for talking to other armed groups are destroying their own country and killing innocent people, says Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen, according to Fresh News.

Prime Minister Hun Sen made these remarks on May 12 in Washington D.C. during a meeting with 2,000 Cambodians living in the United States and Canada.

"Myanmar's Senior General Min Aung Hlaing requested the ASEAN chair to talk with the other armed groups to sign a ceasefire agreement. Therefore, I would like to appeal to all Myanmar protesters who are planning to protest against me to stop this action. Otherwise, it will destroy their own country and kill the innocent people,” PM Hun Sen claims.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is planning to meet with ethnic armed groups for peace talks, however,  some ethnic armed groups have declined to attend such peace talks until all relevant stakeholders are able to participate.
