President U Min Aung Hlaing and a high-level Myanmar delegation arrived at Moscow’s Vnukovo-2 International Airport on August 17 for an official visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. They were welcomed upon arrival by officials from the Russian Foreign Ministry alongside staff from the Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office.
During the trip, U Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to hold talks with President Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the State Duma, and other key Russian officials. Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding strategic cooperation across economic, security, and social sectors. He is also slated to attend the Myanmar-Russia Business Forum.
