A total of 13 more townships have been imposed “Stay at home” order on July 13 bring total number of townships to 74 in COVID-19 third wave period, according to figures from Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS).
The townships “Stay at home” order imposed are Chanmyathazi, Aungmyethazan, Chanayethazan, Pyigyidagun, Maha Aungmye, Patheingyi, Pyinoolwin and Amarapura in Mandalay Region, Tonzan, Tiddim, Falam, Htantlan and Hakha in Chin State, Tamu, Homalin, Sagaing, Monywa and Kalay in Sagaing Region, Lashio, Naungcho, Laukkai, Hsipaw, Techilek and Muse in Shan State, Pathein, Myaungmya, Thabaung, Kangyidaunk and Hintada in Ayeyawady Region, Zabu Thire and Pyinmana in Nay Pyi Taw, Mawlamyine, Thanbyuzayat and Thaton in Mon State, Gangaw and Magway in Magway Region, Thayawaddy, Minhla, Letpadan, Phyu, Taungoo, Bago, Pyay, Oktwin, Kawa, Kyauktaga, Daik-U, Waw and Okhpo in Bago Region, Mingaladon, Hmawby, Shwepyitha, Hlaingthaya, Insein, South Okkalapa, Mingala Taungnyunt, North Okkalapa, Bahan, Mayangon, Taikkyi, Tamwe, North Dagon, Yankin, Thaketa, Thingangyun, Kayan, Kamayut, Sanchaung, Kyimyindine, Dagon and Hlaing in Yangon.
The Union Minister said that they should continuously monitor the infection conditions in each ward / village, township, state and region where the outbreak is occurred and coordinate with the heads of relevant state and region public health and treatment departments to respond quickly to take action.
