MOFA’s Permanent Secretary meets Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister, Korean Ambassador

YANGON- Soe Han, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), separately met with Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Vietnam and Jong Ho Bom, Korean Ambassador to Myanmar at his office in Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday morning, according to the MOFA’s announcement released on October 8th.

In the meeting with the Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister, both sides discussed increasing bilateral cooperation in trade, investments and international organizations including ASEAN countries, promoting bilateral relationship between Myanmar and Vietnam and exchange of goodwill visits.

Likewise, the permanent secretary frankly discussed with the Korean Ambassador matters relating on bilateral relations and improvements of current discussions with the US and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea aiming for the peace of Korea Peninsula.
