The State Administration Council (SAC) yesterday issued a Martial Law Order in Mongmit and Mabein townships of Shan State.

The order, signed by the Secretary of the State Administration Council, Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe, grants Martial Law powers related to administration and judicial measures to the Commander of Northern Command under Section 419 of the Constitution.
