If the ethnic armed organizations attacked the Tatmadaw using civilian buildings, those areas will be assumed as buildings related with military affairs, said Major General Zaw Min Tun, spokesman for the State Administration Council (SAC).

Major General Zaw Min Tun said this while talking about spreading false rumors about the Tatmadaw and attacking it by taking cover of public buildings, education and health facilities in Shan State (northeast), Kayah State and Rakhine State on November 30.

"According to the military situation and laws, the building we designated as a civilian building is a civil building before they attacked us from that building. If the enemy starts attacking from it, it will turn into a building in related with military affairs,'' Major General Zaw Min Tun said.

The armed groups are taking cover of public buildings, education and health facilities and attacked, said Major General Zaw Min Tun.
