Myebon – More than 800 locals from villages in Myebon Township are fled away from fighting and they are facing difficulties for their living, according to locals.

They are temporarily taking shelter at Kanhtaunggyi in the township and they are staying at makeshift tents inside and outside of the monastery. They are struggled for their living as they have no donor, said Kyaw Lin Thu from Kanhtaunggyi.

Khin Thazin Htike, who is helping the IDPs, said although they can provide food for the moment for the IDPs with the money they have from donation, they cannot fulfill their requirements and more IDPs are arrived here daily.

The IDPs need blankets and warm clothing in the winter season.
