A shell fell onto a house situated in Seiktamahe ward, Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region, early this morning, according to local sources.

Around 4am of October 2, a heavy shell fell onto the roof of an RC concrete house in the compound of Zawbwar between 74th Street and 75th Street in Seiktamahe ward, Chanayethazan Township and it exploded.

Due to the shell blast, the roof collapsed and its nearby house and a car so were destroyed and the electric cords of a lamppost in front of the accident fell onto the ground.

No injuries were reported because no one lived in the house.
