General Maung Maung Aye, Chief of General Staff (Army/Navy/Air) has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense
The State Administration Council (SAC) has appointed and assigned General Maung Maung Aye to the duties of Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence under Section 419 of the Constitution on December 18.
In addition, the SAC has appointed and assigned Admiral Tin Aung San to the duties of Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for the Office of the Prime Minister under Section 419 of the Constitution.
