A lot of visitors are coming to Ganankya Waterfall and Tawkye Yebya San Waterfall in Ywangan Township, Shan State (South), according to local sources. 

More than 100 cars with over 1,000 people visit Ganankya Waterfall daily, and the number of visitors has increased since the end of Thingyan Water Festival.

“We have seen more visitors here after the Thingyan Festival. We have a lot of visitors. There are over 100 cars and over 1,000 visitors daily,” said a shopkeeper there.

According to local sources, Ganankya Waterfall remains natural and unspoilt so it attracts visitors from various parts of Myanmar.

Likewise, Tawkye Yebya San Waterfall located in the same township also attracts a lot of visitors.

Along the route to Tawkye Yebya San Waterfall are a resort including a swimming pool and sightseeing viewpoints. 

Both waterfalls in southern Shan State are said to be attractive to both local and foreign visitors, local sources say.
