Fuel station owner abducted in Mandalay, no contact with family for five days

In Mandalay, the owner of a fuel station was kidnapped and has had no contact with his family for five days, local sources said.  

The incident occurred on January 3 at around 5:30 PM near The Wood Restaurant, located at the corner of 33rd Street and 34th Street in Chanayetharzan Township. A man who had just finished dining at the restaurant and was getting into his car to drive away was forcibly abducted by approximately five men.

The victim, U Tun Lin Naing Oo, is the owner of the Star Power fuel station in Nan Oo Lwin Village, Patheingyi Township. He was abducted from his car as he was leaving the restaurant with a friend.

The five kidnappers forced the victim into a vehicle they had prepared and fled the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the case to apprehend the perpetrators. As of now, the victim has not been able to establish contact with his family.
