In the Inle region, people are facing the dangers of flooding, and assistance is urgently needed in remote areas.

"The water hasn't risen too high yet, but the houses are still submerged. People are taking shelter in monasteries. Some are staying in their homes as they can still manage. At our monastery, there are currently over 180 people. Although the pagoda behind the monastery is flooded, the bridge is still holding up, so people are unable to reach us easily. It's quite far away," said a monk from the Le Chay Monastery.

"In Inle, the houses are still submerged. The Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda is also closed, and we saw hotels underwater. The water hasn’t risen too high yet, but we don’t know how long it will last. There are difficulties with electricity and food shortages, so we have donated flashlights, candles, food, medicine, and money. Together with Hinthada residents, we offered these donations. Help is still needed. We urge the aid groups to prioritize reaching the remote villages and provide essential donations," explained a leader from the Hinthada District Network Charity Group.

In the Inle region, it was reported that people are facing significant difficulties due to the flooding, and the current situation is still critical.
