A fire broke out in Shwe Pauk Kan Industrial Zone (3) in North Oakkalapa Township, Yangon Region, on the early morning of April 10 (today), the Fire Services Department reported.  

Acting on the information about the fire that occurred on Kanaung (2) Street in the industrial zone at about 2.30 am, the township fire brigade rushed to the scene to put out the fire categorized as level 2.  

The fire was totally extinguished at 3.22 am, the department said.  

The reason of the fire is still under investigation.
