MEIKHTILA-----When Meikhtila Township, Mandalay Region, held a support for military at western gate of Meikhtila Market yesterday morning, an explosion occurred at a truck patrolling near the area of a support killing one and injuring five, according to the witnesses.

Mandalay, Meikhtila, Pyin Oo Lwin and Matayar Townships in Mandalay Region showed supports for military on October 25th.

According to the initial reports, unidentified two men on the motorbike threw a bomb into the vehicle carrying policemen who patrolled around the event of support for a military. Due to the blast, a policeman died on the sport and five were seriously injured.

The ceremonies to show support for military were held not only in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin, Mataryar and Meikhtila Townships but also in other states and regions.
