EMG holds 17th Kathina robe offering ceremony at storm-resilient Saddhamma Ransi Monastery in Thagyahinoh village

The 17th Kathina robe offering ceremony, organized by the Eleven Media Group family and local donors from Thagyahinoh village, was held on October 18 at the storm-resilient Saddhamma Ransi building monastery in Thagyahinoh village, Daydaye Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region.

On the 12th day after the full moon of Thadingyut in the year 1387 ME, corresponding to October 18, 2025, the Kathina donation ceremony was held at the storm-resilient Saddhamma Ransi building monastery in Thagyahinoh village, Daydaye Township. The event was made possible by an endowment donation from the Eleven Media Group family, with the collaborative participation of the local villagers.

Forty-two monks from Thagyahinoh village and neighbouring villages were invited to attend the Kathina ceremony offered by the Eleven Media Group. The venerable monks chanted paritta suttas to bestow blessings.

The the Kathina offerings, consisting of various requisite items, which were funded by the Eleven Media Group's endowment and collectively donated by the villagers, were received by the forty-two invited monks.

The attending monks were offered lunch and dessert alms, and the guests who came from nearby villages were entertained with a Satuditha feast.

The storm-resilient Saddhamma Ransi building in Thagyahinoh village was constructed and donated by the Eleven Media Group and a group of friendly doctors for the people who were affected by the Cyclone Nargis that occurred in May 2008.
