Eleven Media Group(EMG) donated its 8-storied office building, on 3 October, to the Ministry of Health & Sports (MOHS) and the Ayeyarwady Foundation during the COVID-19 period for use by healthcare staff such as doctors, nurses and other volunteers.

The office, with ready access to water and electricity, located in Tamwe Township, will accomodate assorted healthcare workers.

EMG's Executive Director Ko Min Thaw Htut officiated the process with Ayeyarwady Foundation's Chairman U Zaw Zaw.

"We are thankful and proud of the efforts poured in by the doctors, nurses, volunteers and authorities from the MOHS in the effort to prevent and control COVID-19. In those efforts, a place to house medical personnel such as doctors, nurses, volunteers and redcross staff is a huge issue. That is why Eleven Media Group allowed us to use their building and facilities such as water and electricity.

For now, the building will accomodate around 60 to 80 medical personnel with an expected maximum capcity of around 100 people. Single beds, TVs and Air-conditioning, washing machines and so on have been installed and prepared from the first floor to the fifth.

"We prepared to accomodate around 100 people so there are 100 beds. We also readied aircons, TV and so on for it to be more convenient for them. We will be sending food and also take out their trash. We will have washing machiens for them. We expect to house 60 to 80 personnel first," said Ko Kyaw Zaw Han.

The 8-storied office building is located at No.22, South Horse Race Course Road, Tamwegyi (b) Ward, Tamwe Township.
