General Secretary of Mongla, Shan State, National Democratic Alliance Army (NDAA) U Myint Kyaing said that they will continue work on the peace process path and collectively put Mongla, Silu and Nampan districts while working to form self-administrative region.
He said these words at the Year-end meeting of Special Region (4), 2023 on December 27 in Mongla.
He said concerning the views of public spread on the social media, members of the NDAA must know the real situation and uplift their ability to response the public opinion. Special Region (4) must play active role in safeguarding the peace and stability in Myanmar-China border area. Under the guidance of the Peace and Unity committee, he said that they will walk peace path and collectively put Mongla, Silu and Nampan districts while working to form self-administrative region.
Present on the occasion were vice-chairs of the Committee U San Pe, U San Lu, U Htain Lin, permanent committee member U Law Chain Paung, U Le Kyint Lon, U Kham Maung, U sai Tit, general secretary U Myint Kyaing, members of secretary, departmental and military officials. U Ar Lu acted as master of ceremony.
Vice chair U San Pe acknowledged the success obtained in implementations made at transformations in livelihood of the public and uplifting of regional economy, and systematic forming of various departments in 2023.
He added that detailed implementations must be submitted and transparency must be made to challenges experienced. Successes obtained and requirements must be also submitted. Then only, weaknesses can be amended and work for multi-dimensional building for the region.
He also given guidance on challenges faced in combatting drugs, encouraging for the regional development and building a strong and firm wall for security.
Vice-chair U San Lu added necessary requirements. The meeting will end on December 29. Further, the military and local departments will hold separate meetings.
