Covid-19 positivity rate in Myanmar around 2% with over 70 deaths from December 1 to 11

In Myanmar the positivity rate of Covid-19 has been around 2 percent, and the number of Covid related deaths from December 1 to 11 was over 70, according to the Ministry of Health.

The positivity rate on December 1 was 1.94%, on December 2 it was 2.46%, on December 3 it was 2.08%, on December 4 it was 1.92%, on December 5 it was 1.83%, on December 6 it was 1.37%, on December 7 it was 2.07%, on December 8 it was 2.10%, on December 9 it was 2.24%, on December 10 it was 1.65%, and on December 11 it was 2.30% respectively.

 As regards Covid-19 related deaths,  on December 1 there were 7 deaths, there were 9 deaths, 7 deaths on December 2, on December 3 there were 7 deaths,  on December 4 there were 8 deaths,  on December 5 there were 6 deaths,  on December 6 there were 5 deaths,  on December 7 there were 6 deaths   on December 8 there were 5 deaths,  on December 9 there were 5 deaths,  on December 10 there were 8 deaths,  and on December 11 there were 7 deaths totalling 73 deaths.

 According to the testing of positivity rate in the month of November since the first week it dropped to less than 5% and the rate kept dropping significantly in the second, third and last weeks of the month so that after November 18 it dropped to around 2%.
