In Myanmar COVID-19 infection rate is around 3 percent these days, and between November 1 and November 20 there had been over 300 deaths, the Ministry of Health reported.
On November 1 there were 17 deaths, on November 2 there were 14, on November 3 there were 16, on November 4 there were 22, on November 5 there were 17, on November 6 there were 21, on November 7 there were 17, on November 8 there were 18, on November 9 there were 16, on November 10 there were 14, on November 11 there were 13, on November 12 there were 17, on November 13 there were 14, on November 14 there were 16, on November 15 there were 17, on November 16 there were 17, on November 17 there were 12, on November 18 there were 14, on November 19 there were 11, and on November 20 there were 11, totalling 314 deaths.
As regards the rate of positivity, there was 4.56% on November 1, 4.30% on November 2, 3.32% on November 3, 4.41% on November 4, 4.65% on November 5, 4.20% on November 6, 3.55% on November 7, 3.82% on November 8, 3.13% on November 9, 4.09% on November 10, 3.84% on November 11, 3.79% on November 12, 3.21% on November 13, 3 10% on November 14, 3.01% on November 15, 2.87% on November 16, 3 47% on November 17, 2.97% on November 18, 2.81% on November 19, and 2.52% on November 20.
In addition within the month of October when the positivity rate dropped significantly the number of deaths dropped from over 50 to around 20, and there had been a total of 960 deaths within the entire month.
Within early September when the infection rate dropped significantly there had been around 100 deaths, and by the end of the month the number of deaths plummeted to around 50 so that there were 2346 deaths within the entire month.
In Myanmar the number of Covid-19 infected patients increased from May 27 ushering in the third Covid wave, and within the month of June the number of infected patients were from 100 to 1500 everyday. Then within the month of July the infection rate arose from 20% to 40%, and the number of deaths increased in a daily basis so that there had been more than 6000 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health.
