China Datang Corporation stated that it will continue supporting the stability of Myanmar's electricity supply based on the operation of its existing power plants.

The company noted that investing in Myanmar's energy infrastructure sector currently faces several challenges.

It pointed out that there are challenges regarding the geopolitical situation, security, and social stability, while conditions such as the Russia-Ukraine war, conflicts in the Middle East, intensifying competition among major powers, and unilateral sanctions are impacting the global landscape.

Furthermore, China Datang stated that although Myanmar's infrastructure sector remains in a developing stage and capacity in the energy sector is limited, it aims to address these challenges and establish a mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
