YANGON-----An explosion occurred in front of No.3 Basic Education High School (B.E.H.S) situated on Pale Yadanar road in Ward No.25, Southern Dagon Township, Yangon Region, this morning, according to the nearby residents.

“A blast took place around 10am. It occurred near the transformer which is in front of the school. No one is injured because today is the school holiday,” said nearby resident.

The unidentified nearby resident also said that the security members had based near the school.

After the blast, the security members found an unexploded handmade mine near the incident and then they removed it.
