Basic education schools for the 2023-2024 academic year start opened on June 1.

It is reported that students from high schools, middle schools and primary schools have started attending.

The enrollment week for the 2023-2024 academic year has been set from May 23 to 31.

In this academic year, Grade-9 and Grade-12 classes will be taught with a new curriculum, and the teachers who will teach will be provided from the central level course to the advanced course and further advanced courses.

The Ministry of Education announced that five-year-old children should be enrolled in KG and six-year-old children should be enrolled in Grade-1.

During the school enrollment week for the 2023-2024 academic year, there are more than 6.4 million students enrolled in basic education schools, private schools and monastic schools in various regions and states.

In the previous 2022-2023 academic year, during the school dedication week from May 26 to June 1, there were 5,609,676 students enrolled in basic education schools, private schools and monastic schools in various regions and states, according to the Department of Basic Education.
