Authorities seized 19 guns including AK-47 assault rifles and M-16, bullets and 40 mm grenades from the Passenger Bus in the compound of Hpa-an Highway Bus Terminal in Kayin State.

China-made gun, M-22 pistol, three AK-47 rifles, two M-16 rifles, two M-16 A1 rifles, AR-15 rifle, two Ekol Uzi guns, Sigsauer and Colt pistols, Tafical Pro-2, AK-SA 1911 and Glock pistol were seized with ammunitions and magazines.

A person who is very close to the Police Force said that those weapons were carried by the Passenger Bus and seized in the compound of Highway Bus Terminal in Hpa-an Township. Now, the authorities conduct inquires.

Likewise, two men were arrested with weapons and ammunitions from their car in Thatone Township, Mon State, on February 24th.
