Health authorities are carrying out health screenings in Lashio airport in northern Shan State since February 1 and most of the travellers are wearing facemasks, sources said.

The authorities said they haven’t found the 2019 novel coronavirus suspected patients yet in Lashio.

Similarly, vinyl about coronavirus protection are pasted in maternal and child health clinic, Shwe Mong Yong, Shwe Myo Daw, Shwe Kyar Phyu, Shwe Yae Kan, Shwe Taung Yoe, Shwe U Daung, Doe Nyi Naung and Tat Nay Won highway bus stations, teashops, shops, private hospitals, clinics and airport in Kengtong in eastern Shan State.

Health staffs are carrying out health screenings in Nandaw gate, Sinphyu gate, Mangwingyi gate, Kyinsankyawt gate, Manhero gate, Kyugote (Hpansaing) gate, Nanttaung gate, Yanlonkyaing gate, Chinshwehaw gate, Nanttitphaung gate and Hpansang gate in northern Shan State, No.1 Techilek and No.2 Techilek gates, Silu gate, Mongpyan gate, Mongyu gate and Poneparkyin gate in Thailand border and Wongpone quay and Kyainglek gate in Laos border.
