Attacks occur near Ingabo and Bokka villages in Kyaikto killing three and injuring one

Three civilians were killed and one was injured during the attacks that took place near Ingabo and Bokka villages in Kyaikto Township on September 22, according to locals.

"On the morning of September 22, an army convoy was attacked by mines near Ingabo and Bokka villages by KNLA joint forces. A man and a woman who were riding a motorcycle behind the convoy were injured when they attacked an army convoy near Ingabo Village with a mine, and it was learned that the man died," said a local.

In addition, two more farm workers from Ingabo Village were killed in the shootings near Letpampin cemetery in Ingabo village, the resident said.

Residents said that the people who died and injured during the attacks were sent to Kyaikto Township Public Hospital by charity emergency social assistance and relief associations in Kyaikto Township.

It is reported that there are frequent skirmishes between the two sides in Kyaikto Township, Kyaikto District, Mon State, and tens of thousands of local people have moved to safer areas.
