The administrator who visited Ward No.3 Administration Office in Lanmadaw Township, Yangon Region, where an explosion occurred, has been found dead with his head wide open, said neighbourhood residents. 

The explosion occurred at about 5.30 am on May 18 but no one was hurt. Myo Lwin, the administrator of Ward No.3, reportedly died when visiting the scene of explosion.

“The incident happened in 8th Street. The dead man is the administrator of Ward No.3. He was found dead with his head open,” said a nearby resident.

The cause of the death has yet to be confirmed though Facebook posts have spread that he died of gunshot wounds.

As army troops were deployed investigating the explosion and the death, another explosion occurred near the same administration office after 7 am. Some were reportedly wounded in the explosion. 

After the incidents, security has been tightened in Lanmadaw Township with a lot of security forces.
