The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo announced on October 14 that 170 Japanese companies will recruit over 500 Myanmar workers.
According to the announcement, the Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo is verifying the job offer letters (demand letters) sent from the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a timely manner.
In carrying out such verification, the embassy is verifying whether the labor inspection company and the factories/companies recruiting workers are legally established in Japan or not. The findings and remarks are being sent back to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Myanmar Embassy from Tokyo informed regarding 170 job offer letters that were verified and sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between October 1 and 14.
In the information provided, 170 Japanese companies planned to hire 500 male and female Myanmar workers.
Myanmar Embassy verified the job offer letters between September 1 and 15 and notified 227 job offer letters for 658 male and female workers to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
