The 102nd Motion Picture Day and 45th respect-paying ceremony to aged film artistes were held at the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization on October 13.

At the ceremony, life time achievement awards were also presented to Academy Nyunt Win and Academy Aung Lwin.

It was attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe, and patrons and artistes of the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization.

Afterwards, the Union minister and party unveiled the Myanmar Motion Picture Museum by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. Later, respect paying ceremony was held.
