Electricity supply will be provided to Taungoo town on a rotational basis throughout October, with each group receiving electricity for four hours at a time, three times a day, for a total of up to 12 hours per day, according to a schedule issued by the Taungoo District Electricity Office.

According to the schedule, the day is divided into six four-hour time slots: midnight to 4 am, 4 am to 8 am, 8 am to noon, noon to 4 pm, 4 pm to 8 pm, and 8 pm to midnight.

Residents can determine the timing of electricity supply and outages by finding their respective ward, township or feeder name in Tables 3 and 4 to identify their assigned group. The groups are designated A, B, C, D and E.

If two groups are listed together in a time slot, both groups will receive electricity during that period. For example, if a time slot is designated “Group AB,” both Groups A and B will receive electricity.

Residents can therefore check the time slots containing their group letter to determine when electricity will be supplied to their respective wards. For example, on October 1, Group A will receive electricity from midnight to 4 am under Group AB, from noon to 4 pm under Group AE, and from 8 pm to midnight under Group AB.

As the electricity supply times will change from day to day under the rotational system, residents are advised to first identify the group corresponding to their ward or feeder and then check the schedule for the respective day.
