At the invitation of Vietnamese President Tô Lâm and his wife, President U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam, in the afternoon of September 4.
President U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife are paying a three-day official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from September 4 to 6 at the invitation of Vietnamese President Tô Lâm and his wife.
Vietnamese officials, along with officials from the Myanmar Embassy and Defence Attaché Office in Vietnam, welcomed President U Min Aung Hlaing and Daw Kyu Kyu Hla upon their arrival at Noi Bai International Airport.
During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing will meet with the Vietnamese President for bilateral talks. He is also scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, as well as representatives of business organizations.
He will also attend the Myanmar-Vietnam Business Forum and visit digital technology and industrial facilities in Vietnam.
During the visit, discussions will focus on further strengthening the existing friendly relations between Myanmar and Vietnam; enhancing cooperation between the two governments, parliaments and peoples; and promoting cooperation in the economic, cultural and other sectors.
The President and his wife are accompanied on the visit by Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi, U Tin Maung Swe, U Min Naung, Dr. Charlie Than and U Tun Ohn, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu, Deputy Ministers and other officials.
