Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, will pay an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Vietnamese President To Lam and his wife.

During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to hold talks with President To Lam and meet Vietnam’s Prime Minister and National Assembly Chairman. He will also meet representatives of Vietnamese business organisations.

The President is also expected to attend the Myanmar-Vietnam Business Forum and visit digital technology and industrial facilities in Vietnam.

The two sides will discuss strengthening bilateral friendship and cooperation, including ties between the two governments and parliaments, people-to-people relations, and cooperation in economic, cultural and other sectors.

Union ministers and senior officials will accompany the President and his wife during the visit.
