President U Min Aung Hlaing visited a robot manufacturing facility in China on June 19 as part of his official visit, according to sources.
The President, accompanied by a high-level Myanmar delegation, toured the facilities of Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of June 19. He was welcomed by the company's Chairman, Mr. Wang Xingxing, and senior officials. A robot developed by the company greeted the President by writing "Myanmar" in the Myanmar language.
During the visit, the President inspected the factory's robot production process and observed the manufacturing of key robot components while receiving detailed briefings from the company's chairman and technical officials.
The company also showcased its latest technological innovations, including high-performance quadruped robots, humanoid robots, and artificial intelligence (AI) models capable of human-like movement. Demonstrations highlighted the robots' potential applications in disaster response, industrial operations, and household services. The robots also performed traditional dances from Myanmar and China accompanied by music from both countries and staged a boxing demonstration.

The company specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of high-performance quadruped robots, humanoid robots, and AI technologies. At the conclusion of the visit, Chairman Wang Xingxing presented the President with a specially designed robot as a commemorative gift. The President, in return, presented souvenirs to the chairman, and the two exchanged cordial greetings.
