Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a state goodwill visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, laid a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, on the afternoon of June 16, local time.

Earlier in the day, President U Min Aung Hlaing attended an official welcoming ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where he was received with military honors by President Xi Jinping.

Following the ceremony, the two leaders held bilateral talks, during which the two sides exchanged 18 agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
