Over 100 displaced ethnic residents return from Hakha to Falam

More than 100 ethnic Falam residents who had been temporarily displaced in Hakha returned to Falam on June 11, according to local sources.

The returnees were welcomed by U Win Min Thein, Chairman of the Falam District Management and Administration Committee; Police Lieutenant Colonel Ko Ko Lwin, Secretary of the District Management and Administration Committee; Police Major Ye Min Soe, Secretary of the Township Management and Administration Committee; members of the district and township administrative bodies; departmental officials; and local community leaders.

As rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts continue in Falam, local residents and authorities are providing the necessary support and assistance to facilitate the return and resettlement of displaced ethnic Falam residents.
