One of Myanmar’s largest online shopping platforms, SHOP APP MM, has officially announced that it will cease its operations, according to a formal statement released by the company.

The company said the decision was not made lightly and was shared with deep regret.

“We regret to inform you that SHOP APP MM will be ceasing its operations in the near future. This was not an easy decision for us. Over the years, we are deeply grateful for your trust and for allowing us to be a meaningful part of your daily lives, businesses, and communities. Every order, every form of support, and every interaction has been a great source of strength for us,” the statement said.

SHOP APP MM confirmed that it will accept final orders only until April 29. It also assured customers that all existing orders, deliveries, returns, and refunds will be handled responsibly and completed smoothly.

The company further emphasized its commitment to fulfilling all obligations during the transition period.

SHOP APP MM is known as a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, a major global e-commerce company.
