According to Thai media reports, a group fight involving around 100 Myanmar migrant workers broke out at night in Chonburi Province, Thailand.
The incident occurred at around 11:00 p.m. on January 13 in the Phan Thong area of Chonburi Province, where nearly 100 Myanmar workers clashed in groups on a public road.
Thai police said the fight took place in front of a condominium in the Ban Kaew neighborhood, leaving two people injured.
Police believe the altercation may have started from a verbal dispute after alcohol consumption. Authorities are reviewing nearby CCTV footage and are working to identify and arrest those involved, according to reports.
The incident caused panic among local residents, and rescue teams transported the two injured individuals to hospital.
Of the two injured, one was beaten with a hard object, while the other sustained slash wounds after being attacked with a knife, rescue teams were quoted as saying.
