Tatmadaw goodwill delegation visits India, Indian army goodwill delegation arrives in Nay Pyi Taw

A Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation from the Army, Navy, and Air Force visited India, while an Indian Armed Forces goodwill delegation from the Army, Navy, and Air Force arrived in Nay Pyi Taw.

To further enhance the friendship and cooperation between the Myanmar Army and the Indian Army and to conduct reciprocal study tours on cultural heritage, the Myanmar Army (Army, Navy, Air) goodwill delegation led by Colonel Zarni Aung, consisting of officers and other ranks, departed for India from Nay Pyi Taw Airport on the afternoon of September 16. They were seen off at the airport by Colonel Nay Aung Soe, Deputy Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, and senior military officers and Indian Military Attaché to Myanmar JASWINDER S GILL.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation, which included a total of 120 officers and other ranks from the Myanmar Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, Air) visited the iconic places, training schools, pagodas and monasteries in Gaya, India until September 19.

Similarly, the Indian Army goodwill delegation led by Col. SHRIKANT JETHI and consisting of Indian Army (Army, Navy, Air Force) officers and other ranks arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Airport on the morning of September 16 and was welcomed by the Deputy Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, Colonel Nay Aung Soe, senior military officers, and the Indian Military Attaché to Myanmar, JASWINDER S GILL.

The Indian Army goodwill delegation then visited the Uppatasanti Pagoda and the white elephants in the evening.

The Indian Army goodwill delegation, led by Col. SHRIKANT JETHI, will visit the famous pagodas and iconic places in Nay Pyi Taw until September 19.
