A high-level delegation led by Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Beijing by high-speed train and is scheduled to meet with China’s Vice President at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

On the morning of September 2 (local time), the delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing traveled from Tianjin Railway Station to Beijing South Railway Station by high-speed train. Upon their arrival at Beijing South, they were welcomed and received by Chinese officials.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is visiting the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping on a working visit.

During the visit, he will hold talks with President Xi Jinping, attend a state welcome dinner hosted by the Chinese President, meet Chinese entrepreneurs and economists, and participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO Summit 2025 Plus) in Tianjin. He will also meet other attending heads of state during the summit.

In addition, on September 3, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will attend the military parade in Beijing commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people’s victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the global victory against fascism. He is also expected to meet Chinese government officials, visit significant sites in China, and observe sectors such as education, industry, and the economy.
