The Ministry of Education has announced that those who passed the 2025 Matriculation Examination can apply for university admission from September 2 to 19.

In order to apply for university admission, those who passed the 2025 Matriculation Examination should collect their marks, qualification records, university admission guide and application form from the examination supervisors (principals of basic education high schools) starting from September 2. The application forms will be accepted from September 2 to 19, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at the following universities.

The universities that will accept applications are Myitkyina University, Loikaw University, Hpa-an University, Hakha University, Monywa University, Shwebo University, Sagaing University, Dawei University, Taungoo University, Pyay University, Bago University, Magway University, Pakokku University, Mandalay University of Distance Education, Meiktila University, Kyaukse University, Mawlamyine University, Sittway University, Yangon University of Distance Education, Taunggyi University, Kengtung University, Pathein University, Hinthada University and Maupin University.

In addition, applicants who apply after the specified date must send their applications to the Department of Higher Education (Yangon Branch) located in Thaton Road, Kamayut Township, Yangon.
