The Myanmar women's football team emerged victorious in the four-nation invitational tournament, the International Women's Championship, held in Nepal. In the final, Myanmar defeated the host nation Nepal 2-0, with goals scored by Rupar Khine in the 62nd minute and Win Theingi Tun just two minutes later in the 64th minute.

In the earlier round, Myanmar and Nepal played to a 2-0 draw. Myanmar's journey to the final included impressive wins over Lebanon (3-1) and Kyrgyzstan (5-0), earning them a total of seven points. Nepal also earned seven points, which secured both teams' spots in the final.

This victory marks a significant achievement for Myanmar's women's football team.
