The top 10 countries to which Myanmar exported goods until December 1 of the 2023-2024 financial year are Thailand, China, Japan, India, the United States, Germany, Spain, Poland, South Korea, and Britain, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
From April 1 to December 1 I the current 2023-2024 FY, Myanmar exported goods worth US$2472.866 million to Thailand, $1,931.238 million to China, $784.703 million to Japan, $572.107 million to India, $412.675 million to the United States, $356.301 million to Germany, $321.412 million to Spain, $316.806 million to Poland, $261.457 million to South Korea, and $222.890 million to the United Kingdom.
Among the 11 major commodities Myanmar imported during that period, palm oil imports were worth over $245 million and fertilizers worth over $329 million, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation citing the data from the Ministry Commerce.
From April 1 to September 1, this year, Myanmar imported 243,874 tons of palm oil worth $245.51 million, 849,670 tons of fertilizer worth $329.39 million, 153,139 tons of wheat worth $$65.22 million and 636 tons of flour worth $0.36 million.
