A test census will be conducted from October 1 to 15 in 20 designated townships of the regions and states across Myanmar, according to the information team of the State Administration Council.

Replying to a question posed by the news agencies about the process including the format regarding census taking, the SAC information team said: "The test census will be collected from October 1 to 15 this year. It will be taken simultaneously in 20 sample townships of the regions and states."

The information team also said that the test census will be collected de facto with the use of the computer assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) and mobile tablets.
