Among six prisoners detained at Dala Township Police Station in Yangon Region who escaped after breaking away from their lock-up on Tuesday morning, four were re-arrested, according to the Information Team of the State Administration Council (SAC).
Six detainees broke away from the Dala Township Police Station in Yangon Region on the morning of September 26.
So, the News Agency questioned how the plan to re-arrest the prisoners would be carried out.
They escaped after breaking the roof of the cell. Photographs of the six fugitives were reported to have been distributed to various township police stations.
A source close to the police said: "The incident is true. They escaped after breaking the roof. They are six altogether. Their photos have been sent to the relevant township police stations."
Officials from the Dala District Police Station and the Thanlyin District Police are taking cooperative measures to look for and arrest the fugitives.
