A total of 11,574 laboratory samples of COVID-19 were tested and 222 new confirmed cases were found, according to the press release of the Ministry of Health (MOH) released on May 6.

As of May 6, a total of 10,430,474 laboratory samples have been examined, and there have been a total of 635,882 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the infection rate was 1.92 percent.

59 people have recovered, bringing the total number of people who have recovered to 615,105.
